Big Sky January
In Big Sky in January we had great conditions (warm, sunny, plenty of snow cover) and I was able to show the group around some of the challenging, steep terrain for which Big Sky is so famous. For me, the highlight of the week was guiding intrepid reader Mike Pomfrey down the Big Couloir, which is arguably one of the toughest inbounds runs in North America. Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine trips
Earlier this season, I joined a couple of the reader trips, and had plenty of fun. The snow in Whistler in December was not great, but we made the best of it, and I managed to entertain the group with some one-ski turns:

Great Powder Ski Visit to Utah
"I just returned from a successful visit to Park City, Utah, with the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard magazine reader's trip. It snowed on five out of the six days we were there, and we had some great powder skiing at Park City, Solitude, Deer Valley and The Canyons. Some of the locals were calling it the best storm of the decade!" "I just returned from a successful visit to Park City, Utah, with the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard magazine reader's trip.
